A local Rancho Santa Fe family is seeking a safe, reliable, and dependable Part-Time Private Driver to transport their teenager to and from ballet classes in Lake Forest, Orange County, Monday through Thursday. Relatable to a teen girl would be preferred. Dance background a bonus!

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional driver or responsible individual looking for a consistent part-time schedule. The family will provide a 2026 Rivian truck for all transportation.

The drive between the family's Rancho Santa Fe residence and the ballet studio in Lake Forest is approximately 75 minutes each way. The position involves approximately 10–11 hours of actual driving per week, with approximately 3 hours of driving on the shorter days and 6 hours on the longer days.

Primary Responsibilities

The role is focused specifically on providing safe and dependable transportation for the family's teenager. There are no housekeeping, cooking, laundry, household management, office, shopping, pet care, or event-service responsibilities associated with this position.

The driver will be expected to:

• Arrive promptly for all scheduled pickups

• Safely transport the family's teenager between Rancho Santa Fe and Lake Forest

• Maintain excellent awareness of traffic and road conditions

• Allow sufficient travel time to ensure timely arrival at ballet

• Drive the family's 2026 Rivian responsibly and carefully

• Maintain appropriate professionalism and discretion

• Communicate promptly with the family regarding traffic, delays, or schedule changes

• Provide a comfortable, safe, and dependable environment during transportation

The family is seeking someone who is mature, responsible, punctual, trustworthy, and an exceptionally safe driver. Reliability is especially important, as the teenager's ballet schedule requires consistent transportation four days per week.

The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record, excellent knowledge of Southern California freeways and traffic patterns, and be comfortable driving between San Diego County and Orange County during afternoon and evening hours.

Experience working as a Private Driver, Family Assistant, Household Professional, Chauffeur, or in another trusted private-service capacity would be a plus.

Background Check

The selected candidate will be required to successfully complete an advanced third-party background check, including driving-record verification and clear drug-test.

The $60 advanced background-check fee will be paid by the client.
