Job description

We are currently seeking an Experienced Estate Housekeeper with proven high-end housekeeping experience. The selected candidate must be available and willing to work weekends on a rotating schedule. After a 90 day trial period, a generous pay and full benefits package will be provided.

As an Estate Housekeeper, the selected candidate will be responsible for a variety of cleaning activities, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing. They will be expected to ensure that all rooms in the home are properly cared for and to protect equipment while identifying and addressing any inadequacies.

The Estate Housekeeper will also be responsible for checking stocking levels of all consumables and replacing them as necessary. In addition, they should be willing to prepare simple meals if needed.

Job requirements

To be considered for the position, the ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience working in a private home. Exceptional references will also be required.

Additionally, a European style housekeeping background would be considered a plus. The selected candidate should be familiar with the principles of European style housekeeping, including a focus on meticulous attention to detail, thoroughness, and the use of high-quality cleaning supplies and equipment.

As a private household staff member, the successful candidate will be expected to perform a variety of duties, including but not limited to general housekeeping, laundry and ironing, meal preparation, and running errands. They should be able to work independently and be self-motivated, with a strong sense of personal responsibility and accountability.

The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and organizational skills, and be able to maintain a professional and discreet demeanor at all times. In addition, they should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities, and be able to adapt quickly to the needs of the household and its occupants.
