CNA, RN, or LVN for in-home care - Night Shift

Job description

We have a wonderful opportunity for an experienced CNA, LVN or RN who is seeking a long-term opportunity with a nice, established family in the Rancho Santa Fe area. 
Seeking someone who has their current CNA, LVN or RN and who has had multiple years of care-giving experience and who also has experience working specifically with dementia/Alzheimer patients. Household is very busy and job can be both demanding and stressful. Being calm and grounded is a plus. Must also have the ability to shift gears smoothly, have a flexible, can-do attitude and bring a positive energy to the overall environment. The ability to get along nicely with the other staff in an estate environment is a must. 

Experienced caregiver/personal assistant needed. Must be kind, compassionate, caring, and patient. Must have 2 - 5 years of experience working with Dementia/Alzheimer's individuals in a facility setting. Responsibilities will include assisting person with all activities of daily living. Needs to be bright, must be licensed CNA, LVN, or RN. Must be dedicated and absolutely professional in all aspects of work. Must perform well. Must perform light housekeeping duties when necessary (always less than 20% of daily duties). Must be experienced developing interesting daily activities for person. Must submit copies of driver’s license, diploma, & all certifications. Must be able to lift 75 pounds. Team oriented individual.

Pay Rate: (Depending on Experience) 

Seeking coverage for the following shifts:

10:00pm ~ 6:30am Tuesday - Saturday (and Sunday and Monday night)

2:00pm ~ 10:30pm Monday ~ Friday 

6:00am ~ 2:30pm Sunday ~ Wednesday 

6:00am ~ 2:30pm Thursday ~ Saturday  (we need 2 CNAs for this shift)



Duties to include but are not limited to:

  • General caregiving
  • Help in and out of bed.
  • Linen change as needed
  • Bathroom assistance
  • Administer medication
  • Meal assistance
  • Monitor needs
  • Collaborate for smooth shift changes 

Again, must have experience in a private setting and work together cohesively with the entire team.

Must also be able to work in a home where a small dog is present. Have an absolute professional attitude and professional presentation/appearance. 

MUST be able to lift at least 75-90 pounds.
